Placing them directly next to, or outside the safe zone will likely result in them being trimmed off in production.Full Bleed (black border line)To ensure that your background image covers the entire design space without leaving a white border, make sure that your design fully-extends to the full-bleed boundary.
Spot UV Documentations:
Spot UV allows the customer to put UV gloss coating on some parts of the cards while leaving other parts uncoated with a matte finish. Spot UV is defined per side of a card. It should be saved as a 1 bit (2 colors black and white) tiff file. The black pixels on a Spot UV file represent the regions that will be coated. Ensure that you create and save your file to fit our Spot UV file specs. File Specs:Spot UV files should have 1 bit color depth. This is represented in Photoshop as a "Bitmap image mode". Spot UV files should have 300 dpi (300 dpi vertical and horizontal). Size in inches is 3.627" wide and 2.127" high (1088 x 638 pixels), 4.25" wide and 6.25" high (1875 x 1275 pixels) for the small postcards, and 5.627" wide and 8.627" high (1688 x 2588 pixels) for the large postcards. Your tiff file should be set to "uncompressed" when saving as a tiff in Photoshop. Converting other formats to 1 bit tiff files:
