| 2. What is the difference between Ground Shipping and Ground Shipping
with Priority Printing?
|
Ground with priority printing guarantees that your job will print within the shortest print time for that particular product. For example business cards can take up to 3 business days to print with regular ground shipping. However, by selecting ground with priority printing, your business cards will print in 1 business day and shipped via ground thereafter. Orders that print within 3 business days are guaranteed to be placed on a press sheet first if Ground with Priority Printing is chose.

| 4. Should my file be designed using CMYK or RGB color pallet? |
Should my file be designed using CMYK or RGB color pallet?
We do ask all custom uploaded files to be designed in CMYK, and uploaded in CMYK. You may also upload in RGB if you prefer, however the color will be converted into
CMYK and may not be as accurate. As a good rule of thumb, if your file contains large quantities of blues and purples, it may be best to limit the magenta hues in
the design by at least 10%. If you do upload in CMYK, we ask you to design using our preferred color
profile for better color accuracy. Overnight Prints uses the GRACoL 2006 color profile.
For more information regarding RGB vs CMYK please feel free to click on
the link provided below. http://www.overnightprints.com/main.php?A=rgbcmyk
Please note:
Color fidelity warranted by Overnight Prints is consistent with industry standards for "pleasing color". We offer no guarantee of "matchprint"
or "match-product" color fidelity. Overnight Prints cannot prevent slight color shift throughout an order, and does not guarantee color will match the preview as it appears on a customer's monitor, as we cannot
compensate for a color variance on each customer's monitor.Back To Top

| 5. What is the correct orientation to design my file? How do I make sure my brochure folds correctly? |
For card orientation:
Please review our Card Orientation page CARD ORIENTATION for helpful hints on correct orientation.
Please note:
If you are planning to fold our business card and post card products in any way, please email or call us to verify the correct orientation for folding.
However, we do not recommend folding due to ink
chipping from wear and tear.
For brochure folding guidelines:
Keep in mind, there is a 1/16th of an inch cutting tolerance as well as a 1/16th of an inch folding
tolerance, which may cause the image to shift
after print, cut, and fold. We recommend having a gradient or solid color background for a better final product.
Checklist:
- The document size of the file must be 8.627" X 11.127" or 2588 X 3338 pixels. All text or images need to be within the safe zone 8.373"X10.873"
- For the inside of the brochure, place your guidelines at 3.718" (left panel), 3.696" (center panel), and 3.586" (right panel).
- For the outside of the brochure, please place your guidelines at 3.586" (left panel), 3.696" (center panel) and 3.718" (right panel).
The final product will be cut down to an 8.5"X11" brochure for shipment.
