Business Cards key to networking

As social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter have increased in popularity, some small business owners may feel that going digital is the only way forward.
However, a recent article in the London Free Press indicates this is far from the case and highlighted the importance of business cards, particularly for North American networking.
Twitter may let business owners inform clients of the most recent special, but it's not that effective for allowing contacts and to call one another up or remember a specific company logo after a meeting.
The news provider reminds business owners that a business card represents its owner and his or her company and no matter the size, it leaves the card recipient with a concrete token.
Because you never know who you may meet, it may be smart to keep small stacks of business cards on hand, in a bag or even a small case in your pocket.
Business cards need not be overly complicated, but an eye-catching design, your name, company information , phone numbers and email may be worth more than a 140-character Twitter message.
