Ben Franklin has always been one of my heros. In grade school I read his biography and wrote a paper after seeing how amazing and diverse he was. He also started the first safe place for crazy people (sanitorium) and designed the first sewer system in Philly. What a guy-thanks for reminding me about his birthday I will celebrate.

Hello Laura,
Overnight Prints can print bookmarks for you. The paper stock we use is among the finest available. It is a comfortably thick 15-point stock (350 gsm) coated both sides with a satin matte finish and can grow to an impressive 16-point card with the glossy coating applied. We have found that customers prefer our thick paper stock for business cards, postcards, greeting cards, jumbo mailers, bookmarks, and rack cards as it provides for a nice solid body that will hold up well over time, while providing an image of a stable and professional company.

I agree that I was disappointed that they were not free for commercial use (or all of them were not) as I too like to play unrestricted!

These are some intriguing and creative fonts...but most are free for personal use only. Not helpful to a designer's project. We can buy them, but putting it out there that they are free can be misleading and might encourage folks to use them as they wish whether for personal use or not. As a designer, I am really mindful of respecting the font designer's wish to limit "free" use. You should be, too.

For a business card, you might consider encoding vCard or meCard information. That would be your contact information that could be easily added to the scanner's contact list. There are hundreds of QR Code generators on the web and many that will create QR Codes that encode vCards or meCards. There are some QR Code generators that create dynamic QR Codes which allow you to change the QR Codes destination or encoded information!

I'll be doing my OvernightPrints business cards and postcards with qr codes. There are updateable qr codes; one can go to up to 10 "results" with repeated scans. This could be the site, phone number, address/directions, or coupon. People will remember and show your card around with this unique qr code. Changes are easily made.

The card stock and finish of all of OvernightPrints products are superior to those of other firms. Pay a bit more to have the corners rounded - it adds to the look and feel

I also get giddy when I discover new fonts, however my pocketbook keeps my exuberance constrained. I got real excited therefore, when I saw 25 FREE fonts, but that excitement was quickly dashed when I discovered most all of them are not free for commercial use. I found two that I was interested in that were actually FREE for all uses: Ripe and Capsuula. I've bookmarked the sites where I acquired them. I am excited to try them out. I do not download fonts that I don't have free rights to use for everything, because when in a design frenzy I am not willing to limit my creativity and I don't naturally have the thought - "oh, I better check if I can use this font."

Thank you for the great thought, anyway.
